Speaking in Ottawa on Tuesday, intergovernmental affairs minister Dominic LeBlanc said the government stands ready to reimpose COVID-19 vaccine mandates for air and rail travel in the event of an renewed public health emergency, and says the government has “no regrets at all” about it’s cautious approach to implementing them in the first place.
