Johnny Depp didn’t deserve to ‘have his life, his legacy destroyed’: lawyer

Johnny Depp’s lawyer Ben Chew said during closing arguments in the actor’s defamation suit against his ex-wife Amber Heard that Depp did not deserve to “have his life, his legacy destroyed” through what he said were false accusations of abuse, adding that there is a “world of difference between having substance abuse problems and being a physical abuser.”
