Premier John Horgan on importance of competition for former soldiers

B.C. Premier John Horgan says his government will match the federal government’s $15-million in funding for the 2025 Invictus Games held in Vancouver and Whistler. Horgan says the provincial government has been trying to get the games since 2017, and the pandemic delay has meant the first winter games will be taking place here. He also speaks about how unifying the 2010 Olympic Games were for the province and the power of sport.
