A widow took the stand on the second day of the trial for Roger and Anthony Bilodeau: father and son charged with second-degree murder in the deaths of two Métis hunters — Jacob (Jake) Sansom and Maurice (Morris) Cardinal. As Breanna Karstens-Smith explains, Sarah Sansom said she asked her husband not to drink and drive or get in a fight the night he and his uncle were shot to death on a rural road near Bonnyville in March 2020.
