Kahnawake’s Grand Chief says she received a request for a meeting with Quebec’s Indigenous affairs minister on Wednesday, the day after Indigenous leaders spoke out against Bill 96 at the National Assembly. As Global’s Elizabeth Zogalis reports, it was a one-hour virtual meeting to discuss demands from Indigenous communities to be exempted from Bill 96.
