Access to gender-affirming healthcare in the province has just become more difficult. Nova Scotia’s only doctor performing gender-affirming surgeries has announced he will no longer be offering the service. Advocates say this just part of a much larger problem and it will have devastating impacts if immediate action is not taken. Ashley Field reports.
