Young Afghan refugee shares her harrowing experience on stage

Eight months ago, Rukhshana Ahmadi made the tough decision to leave her home and family in Afghanistan for a saver life in Canada. On May 1, 2022 at the Daniels Spectrum Theatre, eleven women including Ahmadi will share their stories of immigration and adaptation to Canada in The Shoe Project’s latest performance, “Landed, One Step at a Time.” Susan Hay has the story.
