: Dr. Ardalan Ahmad, a Toronto urologist, was deemed inadmissible to the United States in 2020 after having lived and worked in New York and California for nearly eight years. Ahmad says he left Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps at the first opportunity and moved to Canada, and was blacklisted from the U.S. despite having had no choice in his military conscription more than 15 years ago.
