Alisha Aslam, a 16-year-old from Toronto, delivered a speech to representatives from the United Nations during a roundtable discussion marking the 20th anniversary of the international organization’s Optional Protocol Combating the Sale and Sexual Abuse of Children. Aslam represented Canada, and the organization One Child, as a youth advocate.
