Russia-Ukraine conflict: Former Latvian president calls Putin ‘unhinged’

Former Latvian president Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga said Thursday Russian President Vladimir Putin has become “notably unhinged,” adding that his invasion of Ukraine is “not the actions of a sane man interested in the welfare of his country.” Vīķe-Freiberga says Putin is a “megalomaniac with really strong paranoid tendencies.”
