Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics on Monday called for a permanent deployment of NATO military personnel in Latvia following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Rinkevics said that Latvia had “no illusions” about Putin’s aggressive foreign policy, and there was no reason to believe it will change.
