Effective Altruism: Young Canadians taking charity to the extreme
Description
March 5, 2022
How do you do the most good in the best way possible? That’s the question at the center of a global philosophical and social movement called effective altruism. Members of the movement have donated hundreds of millions of dollars to charities, while others dedicate their life’s work to solving big global problems. For The New Reality, Krista Hessey meets young effective altruists in Canada who have altered their lifestyle to make the world a better place.
