Finance Minister Selina Robinson said the province has funded more than 26,000 new childcare spaces already. She said a historic agreement is now in place that brings B.C. closer than ever to $10-a-day childcare. By the end of the year, fees will drop by an average of 50 per cent for daycare spaces, Robinson said and will drop preschool and afterschool care fees as well.
