Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair commented Tuesday on the resignation of Ottawa Police Service Chief Peter Stoly, saying he was a “fundamentally decent man” and was faced with a very difficult job. He said even with the resignation, however, there was still a “very significant job” to be done amid the ongoing protests in the city.
