Trucker protests: Blair says ‘very significant job’ still to be done as Ottawa police chief resigns

Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair commented Tuesday on the resignation of Ottawa Police Service Chief Peter Stoly, saying he was a “fundamentally decent man” and was faced with a very difficult job. He said even with the resignation, however, there was still a “very significant job” to be done amid the ongoing protests in the city.
