Peterborough Police Services Board states former police chief Scott Gilbert decided to retire on his own

The Peterborough Police Service and Peterborough Police Services Board held a media briefing Thursday morning to talk about next steps for the Police Service.
It follows what appeared to be the sudden retirement last Friday of Chief Scott Gilbert.
