A Boston, Mass. man was denied a heart transplant from Brigham and Women’s Hospital due to not being vaccinated against COVID-19. The hospital says most transplant programs in the U.S. set similar requirements on vaccine requirements and personal lifestyles to improve patients’ chances of survival after receiving the transplant.
