Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says Tuesday that there is a still a difference between attending an event in B.C., such as a Canucks game, and attending a wedding celebration. She says while people are with strangers at a sporting event, social distancing and COVID procedures can be maintained. However, indoor celebrations with friends and family, such as a wedding reception, often do not follow those same guidelines and that’s where transmission occurs.
