Daycare-aged children do not need to stay home and isolate if they are healthyB.C.’s provincial health officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, said Tuesday that if a child going to daycare has been a close contact of someone with COVID-19 but the child themselves is healthy, then they do not need to stay home and isolate. Henry said more information will be coming soon, following a town hall with childcare owners and operators.
