During Friday’s COVID-19 update, New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell said that the province is expanding eligibility to receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to include pregnant individuals. Already eligible New Brunswickers are those 50 and older, long-term care home residents, health-care workers, home-care workers and their immediate family members over 18, school and daycare staff and members of First Nations communities.
