Calgary police responded to the city’s international airport on Friday night after receiving a call reporting a disturbance on an Air Canada flight. Police confirmed that alcohol was involved. Passengers onboard the plane identified the offenders as members of the Russian Junior World Hockey Team. All passengers were asked to leave, with most being re-boarded later. The International Ice Hockey Federation says it will refer the incident to its ethics board to determine if the Russian team violated the organization’s ethics code.
