2021 was a year of reckoning for Canada. In May, 215 unmarked graves were discovered near the site of a former residential school in Kamloops and more discoveries across the country followed. It forced Canadians to take a hard look at the horrific treatment of Indigenous children and present day injustices to Indigenous peoples. Heather Yourex-West has more.
