Meet Happy, the rescue bird bringing joy to thousands

Like many of us, Maria Bertrand, a former West Islander, had her ups and downs during the pandemic but then along came Happy the sparrow. As Global’s Olivia O’Malley reports, the baby bird found on a sidewalk not only gave Bertrand a sense of purpose as she nursed it back to health but brought joy to thousands on social media.
