Encounter between cougar and a dog in Saanich is a reminder to watch your pets

Video shared by Saanich police on Twitter shows a dog running up and barking at a cougar in the driveway. Police said the Husky and cougar encounter happened near Bear Hill Tuesday afternoon and is a good reminder to everyone to keep their pets leashed and under control at all times.
