COVID-19: Ontario’s top doctor explains calls for small holiday gatherings

Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore explained why he’s advising people to keep holiday gatherings small on Friday, when large events like sporting matches are allowed to take place. Moore said that he’s “confident” in their ventilation systems and vaccine verification, but with personal gatherings, not everyone might be vaccinated – hence the recommended 25 person cap.
