Canada’s health agency has no idea if 75% of air arrivals obeyed hotel quarantine rule: AG report

Auditor General Karen Hogan's latest report Thursday found gaping holes in the Public Health Agency of Canada's (PHAC) ability to track compliance of quarantine rules, showing that they were unable to confirm if 75 per cent of air travellers obeyed the requirement to quarantine at government-authorized hotels. It also showed the agency was unable to match 30 per cent of test results with incoming travellers between February and June of this year.
