Ontario sent hundreds of millions of dollars in pandemic supports to ineligible businesses: auditor

Ontario’s auditor general has identified hundreds of millions of dollars of inappropriately allocated funds that were sent to businesses which didn’t qualify for pandemic supports. Despite the losses, the Ford government isn’t attempting to recover the majority of the funding. Matthew Bingley reports.
