Testimony began in Chicago, Illinois Tuesday in the trial of TV star Jussie Smollett. Jussie’s older brother JoJo Smollett gave a short statement to reporters saying it has been incredible painful to watch someone he loves be accused of something that he did not do. He said they’re confident in his legal team and look forward to people hearing what he called the actual facts in this case. Prosecutors say the former “Empire” actor staged a homophobic and racist attack in January 2019.
