Report on B.C. policing finds ‘disturbing pattern of discrimination’

A new report is highlighting what’s considered to be a “disturbing pattern of discrimination” in policing in our province. B.C.’s human rights commissioner says Black and Indigenous people are grossly overrepresented in arrest statistics. And as Ted Chernecki reports, she believes policing changes need to be made as soon as possible.
