Abbotsford Mayor Henry Braun said on Thursday that the city was “not out of this by a longshot” after water levels continued to fluctuate following major flooding. Braun told reporters the water was receding “at a pretty good clip for the last 24 hours on the western side,” but Washington state’s Nooksack River continued to come across the border through the breaches.
