While providing an update on the situation in the flooding as it continues to be inundated by floodwaters from the Nooksack River, Abbotsford Mayor Henry Braun cautioned people to stay out of Sumas Prairie, explaining that it diverts resources that are needed elsewhere. He also warned that water in the area could be contaminated by manure.
