New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell announced on Tuesday 109 new cases of COVID-19 and hospitals are feeling the strain on the system. She added within the new cases, 29 per cent were linked to fully vaccinated individuals, and that the rate of patients ending up in intensive care without full COVID-19 vaccination is much higher than those fully vaccinated.
