Even after a coroner’s report into the death of Joyce Echaquan urged Quebec to recognize systemic racism the premier continues to deny it exists. Instead François Legault says his government is taking steps to ensure what happened to Echaquan doesn’t happen again. But as Global’s Gloria Henriquez reports, that’s not good enough for some of the premier’s critics.
