Starting Oct. 1, victims of domestic violence or sexual assault will be able to get free legal advice in Quebec. Women have been the victims of many homicides in the province this year. The program is designed to help survivors regain trust in the justice system so they feel comfortable bringing complaints forward. Global’s Dan Spector reports.
