Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole said on Friday that the question asked by the moderator during Thursday’s English language leaders debate was “a little unfair” in assuming Quebecers are racist in light of Bill 21, which prohibits religious symbols from federal workplaces. However, O’Toole said he would respect provincial jurisdiction and won’t interfere with the law.
