Canada election: ‘You do not have a monopoly on Quebec’ Trudeau tells Blanchet in heated debate

Asked a question about the burning of books at an Ontario francophone school “in the spirit of reconciliation,” the debate became heated, with Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet accusing Liberal Leader of “imposing” his views on Quebecers. Trudeau fired back, telling Blanchet he “is a Quebecer” and telling the Bloc leader: “you don’t have a monopoly on Quebec.”
