The Liberals are facing heat from the Conservatives after a campaign video, released by the party on Twitter, appeared to show Erin O’Toole expressing support for a private “for profit” health-care system and was flagged as “manipulated media.” The Conservative leader slammed the video as inaccurate, saying Trudeau and the Liberals were bringing in “American-style media manipulation.” Trudeau’s defence was to point people to the unedited version which was also posted.
