Liberal leader Justin Trudeau promised on Monday that if elected, his government will “immediately invest” $6 billion in addition to the $4 billion already committed in Budget 2021 to strengthen the health care system, eliminate wait lists and expand health care services. He also said his government will help hire 7,500 additional family doctors and nurses.
