Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was pressed on what actions his government is taking to help interpreters in Afghanistan come to Canada or otherwise flee violence as the Taliban slowly retake control of the country. Trudeau pledged to get as many interpreters out “as long as the security situation holds.”
