One woman was sent to hospital after being struck by a car while riding an E-bike downtown Peterborough on Monday afternoon. Around 1:30 p.m., emergency crews were called to the area of George Street just north of Rink Street around where they found an injured woman on the sidewalk. The car involved had damage to the front passenger side. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Peterborough police. It is unclear if any charges will be laid.
