No more masks on transit, isolation of positive COVID-19 cases come Aug. 16 in Alberta

Alberta chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said as of August 16, several restrictions will be lifted, including masking on transit and in taxis and universal, legally mandatory isolation for positive COVID-19 cases. Also come mid-August, the province will no longer recommend testing for people with mild symptoms. After the end of the month, testing will only be done on people sick enough to require care from a doctor or hospitalization.
