Speaking to the media and the public on Wednesday, Haiti’s ambassador to the United States, Bocchit Edmond, provided an update on the “terrible” assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise. Edmond told reporters that it’s believed the act was carried out by well-trained mercenaries, based on a video in their possession. He also called on the U.S. to provide assistance in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
