Indigenous Awareness Walk held on Canada Day in Douro-Dummer Township

Orange-wearing participants walked eight kilometres together on July 1st to raise awareness of the children whose bodies were found at sites of former residential schools. Participants gathered at a memorial where a residential school survivor shared her own experiences.
