Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said on Friday that getting a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine was the “most important thing” as question emerge following the National Advisory Committee on Immunization’s (NACI) recommendation giving preference to mRNA vaccines over AstraZeneca. However, Tam cautioned that Canadians should check country policies on vaccination before deciding to travel.
