The pandemic has taken a toll on all Ontarian’s but it’s been especially tough for those living and working in long-term care as COVID-19 ripped through many of the province’s long-term care homes, claiming the lives of more than 3,700 seniors and 13 staff members. As Morganne Campbell reports, a little piece of normalcy has returned as families embrace their loved ones for the first time in months.
