A mail carrier was transported to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Wolfe Street between Monaghan Road and Rutherford Avenue on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency crews were called to the scene around 3 p.m. Paramedics treated the mail carrier at the scene before taking them to hospital for further treatment. According to the Peterborough Police Service on Thursday morning, an eastbound vehicle mounted the curb and struck the mail carrier who was walking on the sidewalk. The collision remains under investigation.
