Conservative health critic Michelle Rempel Garner and MPs Eric Duncan and Bernard Généreux called on the Liberal government on Tuesday to end the blood deferral on gay men and those who identify as men who have sex with men (MSM) from donating unless they have been abstinent from sex for at least three months. Rempel added she’s sending a draft order that Health Minister Patty Hajdu could enact to end the deferral.
