Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole on Thursday questioned the federal government’s contract with Switch Health, a Canadian startup company that assists with COVID-19 border testing. O’Toole said that “one in six of their tests have failed to deliver a test result within the 14-day quarantine period,” which he called “unacceptable.” Health Minister Patty Hajdu said there are many different testing technologies “in play in Canada,” and added that Switch Health “has been improving their services.”
