B.C. to give AstraZeneca vaccine recipients a choice for second dose
People who received a first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine will be given a choice for their second shot; another shot of the same drug or one of its competitors. B.C. suspended AstraZeneca vaccinations May 12 over fears of a rare but serious blot clot reaction, but kept 20,000 doses in reserve. Those drugs expire at the end of June, meaning the province will distribute them to those who want them. Aaron McArthur reports.
