Suspected opioid deaths rise to 20 in Peterborough region: health unit

The toxicity of the drug supply has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to public health officials, illegal drugs are now way more likely to be mixed with deadly substances, which has led to a spike in overdoses.
Peterborough Public Health is warning the community about potential drug poisonings following a slew of overdoses. Global Peterborough anchor Noor Ibrahim spoke to Jocelyn Qualtrough about the issue.
