Ontario is introducing a COVID-19 paid sick leave program called the “Ontario COVID-19 Worker Income Protection Program,” announced Labour Minister Monte McNaughton on Wednesday. In this program, workers will have access to three paid sick days and the provincial government will reimburse 100 per cent of the employee’s wages, up to a $200 per-day limit. The program will end Sept. 25.
